Alexis Smith's Piano Studio is based in Kansas City, Missouri, just minutes from downtown historic Parkville.
She has been a teacher for 30 years and earned her degree at Central Missouri State University. She began playing the piano at age 7 and since then has had a love of music. Alexis combines her unique talents and her passions for teaching and music in order to instruct students in several aspects of piano including performance, note reading, and theory to name a few.
Alexis's entusiasim is evident as she eagerly seeks to help a student learn in his or her own style through a combination of music and theory books as well as supplemental materials such as technique and performance study. Alexis's goal is to help her students to learn all aspects of music as well as to instil a positive attitude and genuine satisfaction that comes from playing an instrument.
